Wellbeing & Pastoral Care
One Community, Many Paths to Wellbeing.
Student wellbeing is central to life at Wisdom College. Through strong pastoral care and our dedicated WISE program, we support students to develop confidence, resilience, and the skills needed to thrive both in and beyond the classroom.

The WISE Program
At the heart of our pastoral care approach is the WISE program, a whole-school initiative focused on student wellbeing, personal development, and life skills.
WISE supports students in developing:
- social and emotional wellbeing
- positive relationships
- resilience and self-awareness
- essential life skills for the future
Through structured sessions and everyday interactions, the program helps students build confidence, navigate challenges, and develop a strong sense of identity and purpose.
How We Support Student Wellbeing
Personalised Pastoral Care
Strong relationships between students, staff, and families are central to our approach. Teachers take the time to understand each student as an individual, providing guidance and support that extends beyond the classroom.
Proactive Wellbeing Approach
We support students in developing the skills they need to manage challenges, build resilience, and maintain positive mental health. Wellbeing is embedded into everyday school life, not just addressed when issues arise.
Supportive Learning Environment
We create a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment where students feel valued and connected. This sense of belonging helps students build confidence and engage positively in their learning.
Building Confident, Capable Individuals
Our focus on wellbeing and pastoral care helps students develop more than just academic skills.
Students build confidence, learn how to manage challenges, and develop the interpersonal skills needed to succeed in school and beyond. This foundation supports not only their learning, but their overall growth as individuals.
